First of June. Morning, in the office, just slurping my black tea and still trying to wake up a windows pops cheerfully up wishing me "HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!" from Ana. After 10 seconds of wondering I remember that the first of June is Children's Day in Romania. Considering that I changed my MNS status in "Boogie Man: I eat kids".
10 minutes later Lulu is wishing me the same thing and in my morning mood status I loose my temper and I take out on her all my morning frustrations. (sowwy...)
10 minutes later I am jubilating. By a weird turn of events I get my hands on a almost final draft of the most waiting book of the year. Book not released yet. I end up feeling like Anne Hathaway in "Devil wears Prada"... and as a kid...
The day was followed by a lunch when I feed mainly on the first 30 pages of the book, long trips to the toilet in the afternoon trying to hide from my fellow workers the printed book and the impatience to finish my work and leave the office. Once left the office the only things I had eyes for was the printed material. I wondered how I survived the trip home (which takes around one one and half hour) with my eyes glue to the script. Home another impediment between me and the script. My roommate wanted to inform me about her love life and if normally I slurp her words now I just nodding and picking to the novel in front of me and mentioning from time to time that she will be so late if she is no hurrying to get to damn party of her. After making sure that she didn't forget: keys, umbrella, money, hair pins, mirror, vinyl records I pushed her out of the door, locked the door and let the key in the door to make sure under any circumstances she will not get come back and around two I fall happily asleep with the book in my hands and magic in my heart.
Who knew... I am still kinda of a kid.
